JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 4, 2010) - The Stellar Foundation, the corporate giving division of Stellar, hosted its fifth annual holiday luncheon at the Sulzbacher Center, a nonprofit organization serving homeless men, women and children in Northeast Florida. More than 50 Stellar employees and their families prepared and served lunch on Friday, Dec. 18.

Beginning with meal preparations at 8 a.m., Stellar volunteers spent the day supporting the Sulzbacher Center as chefs and servers and assisting with upkeep projects throughout the facility. Through the Stellar Foundation, employees prepared and served Italian cuisine to more than 500 men, women and children. The Stellar Foundation arranged for a special visit from Santa Claus, who brought a present for each child, as well as face-painting and balloon artists. Stellar employee volunteers also assisted with interior painting projects on the Sulzbacher Center campus.

"The annual Sulzbacher holiday luncheon is an event our employees and their families look forward to every year," said Allison Korman, Stellar's director of corporate marketing and public relations. "Supporting the communities in which Stellar operates is a key tenet for the Stellar Foundation, and this year's holiday luncheon was another great opportunity to directly demonstrate that commitment."
