Stellar added a 148,000-square-foot freezer addition to Dot Foods’ existing 465,000-square-foot Mt. Sterling warehouse. The expansion included a minus 10 degree freezer, two plus 35-degree shipping and loading docks and a plus 35-degree connecting corridor.
The expansion also incorporated a machine and mechanical room, a battery-charging room and a maintenance room. Stellar installed additional refrigeration equipment and controls designed to increase capacity for current and future needs, as well as improve overall efficiency.
Dot Foods has partnered with Stellar for more than 10 years on a variety of projects across the country. We have done several projects with Stellar. Some are better than others. At the end of the day, Stellar always steps up to the plate to make sure things are done right. They have consistently completed projects on time and under budget.
