This three-story, multi-use building is designed to enhance the school's science, math, and technology programs. Spanning 47,000 square feet, the center features state-of-the-art specialty science labs, including an Anatomage tableā€”a virtual dissection tool used globally by medical institutions. The facility also includes dedicated spaces for advanced robotics, computer programming, IT, engineering, and design courses. Flexible classrooms and collaboration areas can be adapted for various group sizes, fostering creativity and engagement among students. Stellar's team installed 200 piles driven 80 feet deep into the ground to ensure the building's stability. The center boasts abundant windows and glass walls that provide stunning views of the St. Johns River, complemented by high-end finishes and elegant wooden ceilings. Throughout the project, stellar collaborated closely with award-winning design firm Zyscovich, leading to a successful partnership that enhanced the overall design and execution. In addition to supporting the school's educational programs, the Center for Innovation is poised to host special events, including fundraisers and graduations.
