Stellar Named 2018 Platinum-Level Healthiest Company by First Coast Worksite Wellness Council

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 4, 2018) – Stellar, a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide, was named a 2018 Healthiest Company by the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC). 

The firm received a platinum-level award, which recognizes companies that “have best in class wellness programs and have truly created a culture of health and well-being throughout their organization.” Platinum award winners have full leadership support and invest in necessary resources to strategically design, implement and measure programs that show demonstrated improvement in the health and well-being of their employees.

The FCWWC is an initiative of Healthy Jacksonville 2020. The mission of the Council is to improve the health of the First Coast community by sharing resources and providing guidance through our member businesses.

The FCWWC was established in 2008 as a community work group led by a partnership between the Florida Department of Health in Duval County and the City of Jacksonville Mayor's Council on Fitness and Wellbeing. The group was charged with impacting community health through the business community and creating a platform for local organizations to be recognized for excellence in workplace wellness.
