The Divisional Vice President of Design and Engineering was one of only 14 honorees named to the inaugural class.

“Our biggest design improvement was implementing a unique flexibility layout and process that allows Starbucks to transfer product from any one of the plant’s unroasted coffee storage silos to roasted bean storage all the way through to any one of the plant’s packaging lines,” said Jason Goode, senior project engineer at Stellar.

The $20 million facility will house the School of Applied Health Sciences, the School of Orthodontics and the Keigwin School of Nursing graduate programs.

Stellar, a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide, designed and constructed the original building, and was in charge of the expansion project.

The $121 million design-build project added 150,000 square feet to the existing building, nearly doubling its original size.

The Volkswagen project is the fourth phase of recent efforts by Stellar, an award-winning construction management firm, to modernize the Tom Bush Family of Dealerships’ various facilities. 

Relocated, state-of-the-art facilities to better serve clients in Southeast and South Central U.S.

The $2.8 million project will add an 8,700-square-foot building and 100 parking new parking spaces.
