Stellar Promotes Three VP-Level Leaders
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (October 2, 2019) — Stellar, a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide, has promoted three leaders on its senior management team.
Scott Mark has been named Senior Vice President of Food Manufacturing & Logistics. Mark first joined Stellar as an intern in 1997. He advanced through the operational ranks in the Food & Beverage group, becoming Vice President of Food Operations in 2011. Mark was then named Division Vice President of the Food & Beverage group in 2012, assuming responsibility for the division’s operations and engineering. As Senior Vice President, he will now be responsible for the entire Food Manufacturing & Logistics group, including the Distribution and Thermal divisions. Mark is a graduate of the University of North Florida’s Building Construction program.
Todd Allsup has been named Division Vice President of Corporate Sales. Allsup joined Stellar in 2002 as a Director of Sales (Food Processing) and was promoted to Vice President of Sales for the Food & Beverage group in 2006. As Division Vice President, he will now be charged with developing leads and relationships at the corporate level for all three of the Stellar companies. Allsup received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama.
Wyatt Payne has been named Division Vice President of the newly formed Field Services, Quality and Safety group. Payne began his Stellar career in 1997 as a project manager in construction. He has held many positions in project management and business development across multiple divisions including Food & Beverage, Distribution and Commercial. By integrating Stellar’s quality and safety efforts with field operations, Payne will lead the new group in providing clients with a level of service that is unmatched in the industry.
“These three individuals have a combined 61 years of experience in their Stellar careers,” said Brian Kappele, President/Chief Operating Officer. “Their dedication, commitment and vision have led to outstanding results and growth for Stellar, which I am confident will continue as we embark on our goals and objectives for 2025.”
Last month, Mike Santarone was named the company’s new CEO and Kappele was promoted to President/COO. The announcements come as Stellar concludes a successful fiscal year 2019.
